In the Heart of the Canadian Rockies

High Point of the Most Beautiful Settings in Canada

This full itinerary will take you to the heart of the Rockies and have your own pounding from the thrill! Depart from Vancouver, a fascinating, young, vibrant and cultural metropolis. Surrounded by mountains and the ocean, it offers several attractions within a short distance. Begin the adventure with Whistler, a pedestrian village with a European flair, nestled at the foot of the Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. Continue the journey and enjoy the drive to Jasper. Discover Chase on the shores of Shuswap Lake and Clearwater where you can stretch your legs on the hiking trails while admiring lakes, cascades and waterfalls. Before you know it, you'll have arrived in Jasper National Park. The area is known for its valleys, its winding rivers, its snow-capped peaks and invites you in its world of mountains. Leaving the alpine village of Jasper via the famous Icefields Parkway, you will be in the most beautiful mountain landscapes on the planet and will be able to observe an exceptional fauna. Along the way, you'll see the Athabasca Glacier, the turquoise waters of the Athabasca River Falls, and the remarkable Maligne Canyon. All of the glacial lakes in the Canadian Rockies are stunning, but there is something about Lake Louise that makes it too good to be true. Then, dominated by the peaks of Rundle and Cascade Mountains, discover the lively village of Banff, focal point for the main attractions of the area such as the Bow Valley, Johnston Canyon, Moraine Lake to name a few. Continue on to Revelstoke, an easygoing small town at the foot of rugged mountains. Then, along the shores of Okanagan Lake, continue your way to Kelowna where fruit trees abound and their production continues to expand over time. At the famous Mission Hill vineyard, a wine tasting awaits you. Finally, end your tour with a relaxing stopover in Harrison Hot Springs Village, known for its hot springs. Back in Vancouver, you will have completed this magnificent loop.
