British Columbia explored from a different angle. Here is what you’ll discover in this adventure: Vancouver, a fascinating metropolis with many attractions. Victoria, a charming colonial city. Along the way, a stop at Butchart Gardens is well worth the detour. Ucluelet, the sea, the rocky shores and the beaches of Tofino. Also a good place for a whale-watching cruise ... Then, Port Hardy and all the wilderness of the northern tip of Vancouver Island. And there you are; the Interior Passage, where sea and mountains form an absolutely spectacular coastline. A 16-hour cruise in the heart of this majestic world. Disembark in Prince-Rupert, a small town with a huge port. Surrounded by fjords and mountains, it is nicknamed the "rainbow city" due to its changing weather. Smithers will follow, a ski town, but mostly an all around outdoors one. On your way to Prince George, history buffs will be tempted to make a stop at Fort St-James, a fur-trading post that will take you back in time. Then, Kamloops, and its various surrounding attractions, including several parks, followed by Whistler, an alpine Village with its irresistible European flair. Finally, return to Vancouver to complete the loop in style.
